Ground Bulgogi Tacos (Low-carb, Keto)

Simple and delicious with the sauce, a great mid-week meal.

 

Ingedients
1lb Ground Turkey or Beef
1/4 onion, diced

Marinade

  • 2T Liquid aminos
  • 2T Coconut Aminos
  • 1T water
  • 1T Monk Fruit sweetener
  • 1Tb Minced garlic
  • 1T Sesame oil
  • 1/4t Black pepper
  • 2T Green onion

Gochujang sauce

  • 3T Sour cream
  • 1T Keto gochujang (see Bulgogi recipe)
  • 1T Kimchi liquid (optional but recommended)

 

Directions

  1. Mix all marinade ingredients together
  2. Mix beef, onion and marinade until well incorporated
  3. Let it sit for 30min to 1 hour
  4. Cook on pan with a little bit of oil. Cook until meat is thoroughly cooked and there is little to no liquid left
  5. Make the gochujang sauce. You can omit the kimchi liquid if you do not have it but it gives the sauce an extra boost of flavor.
  6. Assemble the taco any way you like. I put coleslaw in my taco with the sauce on top.
