Simple to make, but was a bit too savory (did I put in too much salt?). I don&#8217;t think it exists..we looked in Stew Leonards, Whole Foods, and Food Universe, and the only extra sharp cheese available is the one in a block. Also, extra sharp cheddar is &#8216;Tasty&#8217; cheese in Australia. I never questioned what &#8216;Tasty&#8217; cheese in Australia actually was..its nice that its not orange like the majority of cheddar cheese here in the US<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-96\" src=\"http:\/\/hungrychooi.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/156220-2-227x300.jpg\" alt=\"156220-2\" width=\"163\" height=\"263\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-97\" src=\"http:\/\/hungrychooi.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/127190-2-298x300.jpg\" alt=\"127190-2\" width=\"190\" height=\"223\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. I&#8217;d never bought plain &#8216;water-packed&#8217; tuna before. It looks like cat food. I was so surprised that &#8216;flavored&#8217; tuna was not really a thing here. No John West Mango Chili, Seeded Mustard, or Lemon &amp; Cracked Pepper \ud83d\ude41 Just plain tuna. Never thought I&#8217;d miss putting these flavorful tuna flavors on my toast for breakfast, or when I used to take a can of this and a slice of bread for a cheap lunch when I worked at the ABC<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-98\" src=\"http:\/\/hungrychooi.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/tuna_ranges-300x182.jpg\" alt=\"tuna_ranges\" width=\"422\" height=\"229\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. I don&#8217;t think\u00a0jalape\u00f1o is as common or popular in Australia, in cooking\/restaurants, and as a flavo(ur) in itself? At least, I don&#8217;t recall it to be..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Serves 8-10<\/p>\n<p>Prep Time: 20 mins (more like an hour!)<\/p>\n<p>Total time: 1 hour 15 mins (&#8230;..)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-123\" src=\"http:\/\/hungrychooi.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4551-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"img_4551-1\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hungrychooi.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4551-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hungrychooi.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4551-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hungrychooi.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/IMG_4551-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the Casserole<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 pound corkscrew pasta<\/li>\n<li>3 (10.75-ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup<\/li>\n<li>3 (5-ounce) cans water-packed tuna, drained<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups whole milk<\/li>\n<li>1 cup frozen peas, thawed<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup chopped celery<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup finely chopped fresh\u00a0jalape\u00f1o peppers<\/li>\n<li>3 cups shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For the Topping<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups\u00a0jalape\u00f1o-flavor potato chips, crushed<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare the Casserole<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 350F (~180C). Coat a deep 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or grease it with butter<\/li>\n<li>In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta 2 minutes less than the package directions, so they&#8217;re a little underdone. Drain<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, combined the drained pasta, mushroom soup, tuna, milk, peas, celery,\u00a0jalape\u00f1os, cheddar, and the black pepper.
