Better than any store-bought granola I&#8217;ve ever had! Serve with yoghurt and top with fresh fruit!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 cups rolled oats<\/li>\n<li>1 cup sliced almonds<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup chopped dates<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup sesame seeds<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 cup maple syrup<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup corn or mild-tasting oil<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 dried cranberries (or any other dried fruit)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine all ingredients in a lightly oiled 4-quart slowcooker and stir to combine. Cook on High for 1 1\/2 hours, uncovered, stirring occasionally.<\/li>\n<li>Reduce the heat to Low and cook, uncovered, for 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is crisp and dry. Add cranberries (or other dried fruit)<\/li>\n<li>Spread the granola on a baking sheet to cool completely.
